Just back and recovered from a study trip to Tallinn. So much travelling. The city is amazing. So colourful and covered in snow. Not so easy to walk on compacted ice with silly boots. We were living in a hostel in the old town. The city was described to us by a tutor as St Andrews (old town) surrounded by Glenrothes. This was pretty true. Many pints were had, in the 'local', the Hell Hunt and the 'famous' Depeche mode bar. Then over on the ferry to Helsinki for one of the days. Wish I had a bit more time over there. Hopefully (when I have more money) i'll go for a proper visit. Enjoyed everyones company. What a hilarious week. Anyway here's some photos I took.

Michael Borremans.
This man is probably my favourite artist at the moment if I had to pick. His paintings and drawings are pretty amazing.
Borremans is a Belgian artist. He uses a realistic style to capture a likeness of the subject. However, the paintings/drawings as an overall images seem surreal as he leaves them incomplete or adds a little more to suggest something is not quite right. Whether he is conscious of what this irregularity is or not, his work is extremely pleasing to the eye. Well I think it is anyway.
